As the business of music continues to move online, University of Arkansas School of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach is taking a leadership role in educating the next generation of music industry professionals. Our Music Industry faculty include award winning songwriters, engineers, producers managers, producers, artists, publishers, and music business entrepreneurs from across the country.In today’s trillion‐dollar global entertainment economy, there are a staggering variety of career paths for students to choose from including: music production/engineering, publishing, management, record labels, distribution, TV, film, radio, live performance theater, industrial film audio production, ad agencies, special events, and much. As the 6th largest employer in the U.S., the music and entertainment industry offers students the option to peruse over 400 unique job titles.
