PBS TeacherLine®

The College of Education and Health Professions and the Global Campus at the University of Arkansas and AETN PBS TeacherLine have formed a new partnership to benefit Arkansas teachers.

This partnership designates the University of Arkansas as the local graduate credit provider to offer licensed Arkansas teachers the added option of earning graduate-level credit for selected PBS TeacherLine courses.

The University of Arkansas currently offers graduate credit for the following PBS TeacherLine courses:

  • Constructing a Language Centered Environment
  • Teaching Reading in Content Areas
  • Using Assessment and Evaluation
  • Connecting Families, Community and Schools
  • Teaching Multiple Intelligences
  • Differentiated Instruction
  • Creating Units to Support Differing Learning Styles

Two or three graduate credit hours* may be earned for each course, and all courses are offered under the course code CIED 599V. The content provided by PBS TeacherLine covers two credit hours. To earn three credit hours, extra assignments must be completed in addition to the PBS TeacherLine curriculum.

*Note graduate credit for PBS TeacherLine courses is non-degree credit; meaning, it cannot be counted toward University of Arkansas degree programs.
